The representative council meeting of Enerkemi was held 17.6.2020. The following changes for the rules of the fund were decided on at the meeting.
Rule 4 §
The time to apply for membership was extended from four to six months. Membership must be applied for within six months of the beginning of the employment relationship.
Rule 14 §
- Costs of hospital treatment days are compensated for up to 100 days within a calendar year. (Previously the compensation covered the same illness for up to 100 days).
- Costs of home hospital or domiciliary care visits are compensated for up to 100 times within a calendar year.
- Treatment by a physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath or naprapath (prescribed by doctor) is compensated at 75 % of the costs but not more than 900 euro per member per calendar year.
- Treatment by psychologist or psychotherapist (prescribed by doctor) is compensated at 75 % of the costs but not more than 1200 euro per member per calendar year. (Previously compensation was available for up to 10 times per calendar year.)
- Travel expenses are not compensated by the fund. -Reimbursement by Kela can still be processed at Enerkemi.
- The maximum compensation for both single-vision lenses or multi-vision lenses is the same: 400 euro.
- Compensation for approved medical aids by a doctor is 75 % but not more than 500 euro per member per calendar year. The following types of costs for rental or purchase are covered: compression socks, compression vests or orthopaedic leg supports, joint supports after an accident for up to three months, rental costs of a CPAP-device at the beginning of treatment and hearing aids.
- If you are covered by private medical insurance, Enerkemi will pay 75 % of your private insurance deductible up to a maximum of 100 euro per member per calendar year.
